Welcome to barefootengineering.org
This website is being developed to assist barefoot engineers along the road less travelled.
We now have a discussion forum called footprints. I set up footprints as a way to link people together and provide a place for knowledge sharing in the Solomon Islands. I know as a young engineer the importance of seeking advice from those who are a little further down the road than I and hoped to share what little I know with those starting on their journey.
My blog is also here and I would encourage people to add links to their own barefoot blogs.
Well that about it for now. Lets see where this goes…

He, am I the first to comment on your site? Good idea, should be easier to manage info and comments than my engineering email discussion group I started earlier here in the Solomons. I will summarize the sanitation discussion we had through that email list later on to get something started.
Matt, looks good!
Looks like a great place to collate discussions together.

Matty!
Great concept mate. I look forward to seeing what gets going here.
Hey Matt. I like the site! I see you’re wearing the hat from catchments. Mate I’ll get back to you on the AA’s. Accurate and Affordable surveying GPS aids. Think I know a few people who know how to get better signals in hilly and deep valley terrains than I do. Cheers, Ken.
Hi Matt
Great work on the forum concepts, are you working in any energy sector related fields and seen any inpact from the barefoot power products there in SI.
Kind regards Frank Sanders
Matt, I applaud on your continuing work on improving the lives of those in need.
